Burton, and 11 sororities and dormitories, is the plan of the Combined Music clubs of the Union, for their annual spring .serenade to- morrow evening. The tradition which' was established .under the old Glee and' Mandolin clubs is to be followed again this year. The serenade takes place this year 10 days before the musical and vaude-j ville program which the clubs will give Thursday, May 26, at Hill audi-I torium. W. L. Kemp, '22M, will lead the singers on the serenade trip, and G. O. True, '23L, is to lead the play- ers. The President's home will be visit-. ed early in the evening, and if weath- er permits, the following sororities and dormitories will be visited accord- ing to the schedule which has been drawn up: Delta Delta Delta, Pi Beta Phi, Kappa Kappa Gamma, Delta Gain- ma, Alpha Chi Omega; Sorosis, Chi Omega, Kappa Alpha Theta, Gamma Phi Beta, and Newberry residence and Betsy Barbour house. 3 TONS OF OLD CLOTHES COLLECTED "BUNDLE DAY" Nearly three tons of old clothes were collycted during the "Bundle Day" campaign held heretrecently, ac- cording to the officials in charge of receiving the articles. Of this amount more than 1,000 pounds were shoes. The clothes were sent by truck toI the state receiving station in Detroit on Thursday, from which point they will be sent east and shipped over- seas. The object of the nationwide drive was to secure clothing for the Armenians and others in distress abroad. According to the receivers at De-, troit, the Ann Arbor donations were in much better condition than the supplies received from any other part of the state. Burton on October 14, 15, 16 of last year, will be made soon, ac- c-ording to advises from the commit- tee. , The edition will be made up in two bindings, one which will be given to a selected list will be bound in seal leather and have gilt edges, the other for general distribution will be bound' in the finest cloth and have gilt edges. The seal leather bound volumes will number 100. All individuals who delivered ad- dresses, all institutions invited to at- tend the ceremonies, and important libraries and learned societies in this country and in foreign countries will be sent copies.-. SUMMER CAMP MEN ORGANIZE FOR ACTIVITIES An organization to insure participa- tion of Michigan men in camp activi- ties at the R. 0. T. C. camp at Fort- ress Monroe this summer has been formed by .the 75 men who expect to go to the camp. Robert L. Neale, '22E, was elected general chairman. Other managers elected are: . H. Pilkington, '21E, baseball; R. L. Belknapp, '22E, track; J. S. Valentine, '23, swimming; M. A. Klaver, '23, publications; A. G. Mc- Diarmid, '23, orchestra; A. H. Robins,; '23, rifle shooting; and D. Newton, '22E, quartette. It is expected that this organization will bring the men closer together and promote a feeling of co-operation among them, which will do much to gain Michigan her proper place in the affairs of the camp and in com- petition with other universities repre- sented.
