FRESHMAN PHYSICAL
EXAMS SUCCESSFUL
~Approximately 900' freshmen'-have
reported to Waterman gymnasium so
far to take the physical re-examina-
tions which began April 25, according
to Dr. G. A. May, director of Waterman
gymnasium. "The examinations have
been a great success," declared Dr.
May, "more so than ever before, and
in the 900 men examined between aj
20 and 25 per cent improvegient in
physical conditions over the tests tak-
en last fall, were shown."
According to Dr. May the system of
charts used this year has been suc-
cessful and effective and will be used
with all classes next year.
The examinations will be continued
next week for all those who desire to
take them, between the hours of three
and five every afternoon except Wed--
nesday and Saturday.
Dr. May is not conducting any more,
regular gym. classes this year, but
has a special class in advanced indoor
jwork. and playground teaching, which
meets on Monday,. Wednesday,, and
Saturday. °afternoons.
