W. C.,A. has never been given a chance here at the University for our, organization has not been affili- ated with the national board for many years. The disadvantages are: Mem- bership limited by the Y. W. C. A. basis; the possibility of having to compete with the women's department of the S. C. A. Under this plan the oganization would have to assume the whole esponsibility of financing a building and budget. May Join National Board The third plan proposes a Y. W. C. A. affiliated with the national board and incorporated in the, wom- en's department'-of the S. C. A. The advantages are: No women of Chris- tian faith will be excluded from mem- bership; the organization will pro- vide for united religious work among the women and will make possible coxoperation with the churches and with the men; besides the Y. W. C. A. program there could be one suitable to local conditions. The greatest, disad- vantage is the difficulty of working out the organization. The S. C. A. ,and the Y. W. C. A. have different mem- bership basis. OIt has been felt by some that the women might be at a disadvantage due to their smaller pro- portion of membership in the associa- tion. t FRESHMEN WARNED TO WATCH CONDUCT BY COMMITTEE -r (Continued from Page One) 2.
