In accordance with a decree of Con- gress designating today as "Bundle Day" for the relief of destitute Armen- ians, it is asked by the local commit- tee that all'old clothing be 'bundled and taken to the station in McMillan hall, on State street, across from the Ann Arbor high school. Countless men, women and children in the Near East are destitute of cloth- ing, and thousands have no covering whatever save the thinnest rags. The need is so urgent that Near East Re- lief, the American organization incor-' porated by Congress to administer re- lief in this area, is making a national drive to secure for these people Amer- ican cast-off garments which mean lit- tle or nothing to us, but much to them. The intensive period of the cam- paign will be but a single day and will be conducted simultaneously in practically every state in the Union. Bundle stations will be open for 12 hours, between the hours of 9 a. m. and' 9 p. m. In this way it is hoped to secure the co-operation of every per- son in the community. The city cam- paign is under the control of the W. C. T. U. of Ann -Arbor.
