Ir PLAN MANY SPORTS FR INTRAMURAL ATHLETES VOLLEY BALL TOURNAMENT WILL CLOSE INDOOR SEASON , Director Mitchell is making exten- sive preparations for the opening of outdoor intramural sports after the spring vacation. The present volley ball tournament, which closes this week, will terminate the indoor sea- son. Much interest was shown in last year's- tournaments, and it is planned to make the contests of this spring even more interesting. Basebal Starts Soon The latter part of April an interfra- ternity baseball tournament of the soft ball variety will be started. Last year's tournament was won by the 'Nu Sigma Nu team after a close race. However, the Nu Sigs have lost sev- eral of their star players and so will have a hot fight this year to retain the championship. Entries for this tournament' may be placed now with Director Mitchell at the Intramural of- fice. In last year's contest there were 52 teams, but so far this season .only 24 teams-have signed up.
