TO SPEAK TONIGHT
Julian H. Arnold, commercial at-
tache to China, will speak to busi-
tess administration students at 8
o'clock this evening in room 102 of
the Economics building on the trade
relations of the United States with
China-and the East.
Mr. Arnold entered the consular
service after graduating from the Un-l
iversity of California, and has beenI
United States consul in several im-
portant ports of China. He is consid-
ered to be an authority on foreign
trade relations with the East. The
'meeting this evening is under the au-
spices of the Commerce club.'
Westerners' Social Comm-iee to Meet
Westerners' club social committee
will meet at 7:30 o'clock W9dnesday
evening at 1318 Forest Court. In con-

Plans to promote athletics in the
factories of the city by organizing a
baseball league among them are be-
ing worked out by the Y. M. C. A.
Practice will be carried on during the
lunch hour and after 5 o'clock in the
evening.
Students who have had any experi-
ence in refereeing are needed to help
out in this work and are requested to
get in touch with the student commit-
tee in charge. This committee is com-
posed of W. H. Gridley, '21E, chair-
man; R. Habermann, '21L, J. N. Sav-
age, '21E.
Traffic Committee Chairman Named
Prof. Arthur H. Blanchard, of the
highway engineering and transport
department, has recently been ap-
pointed as chairman of the committee
on traffic and transportation by the
American Society for municipal im-
provements. Professor Blanchard was,
Salso appointed as a member of thea
transportation committee on the Fed-
eral highway council.

'Illinois Club to Meet- Tonight
All students from Illinois are invit-
ed to attend a meeting of the Illinois
club at 7:3Tf o'clock tonight in room
304 of the Union. It is intended that
this be a purely business meeting and
that the temporary organization form-
ed last week will be replaced by a
permanent one.
Oklahoma Male Graduates Decreasing
Statistics made public by the new
alumni directory of the University of
Oklahoma show that the number of
male graduates is decreasing, while
the number of women graduates is
increasing.
