Prof. F. W. Taussig, who has worked with Mr Hoover, said that he has shown b his work in foods relief and by ad ministrative qualities that he is fully deserving of the nomination. The plan is' to have the Hoover league a Broad enough organization to in- clude all men of the university wh favor Hoover, regardless of party. Cormelk- In orderto raise money for the endowment fund, Cofel's annual "Spring Day Circus" was stag- edfor thefirst time outside of Ithaca. kThae striped tents, 'identified witb Spring Day, were tranpqrted to New York City and set up in the ballroom of the Commodore hotel. Prof S. P. Orth and President Schurman made strong addresses for the endowment. The crowd was mad up principally of alumni, undergraduat and theil friends. Kansas-Fifteen hours credit ' will be given students in the R. 0. Ti C. The R. O. T. C. gives a course of class work running through the full four years. This is not military credit, the R. 0. T. C.'is considered by the college the same as any professional school. Texas-The University of Texas at Austin, is offering six annual schol- arships valued at $600 each to stu- dents at the National University of Mexico who will come to this country to study. - Montana-The University Glee .club Communieations_ Women's Editor: "A Women's League party will be held at 4 o'clock Friday afternoon in Barbour gymnasium. If you are a woman student you have probably read announcements 'to this- effect nearly every week since you came, but if you have stayed away because you did not have 'time to dance and drink tea that afternoon, or if you .ihve gone only to dance and drink tea, you have missed the point entirely. The point is that here is a fine opportunity for Michigan wmen to know Miclrigan women and the very best way to test a point is to Come to the George Washington party next Friday afternoon, watch the dance of the minuet, and the other stunts both colonial and modern, dance a bit 'yourself, drink tea, and meet some of your illustrious contemporar- ies.
