Appointment of the annual Union
committees is del'ay,- by the failure
of a large number of the student
-body to register at the Un1ioni. As
selection of comittees will be made
partly on the basis of the students'
.ualifications as set forth in "'the
,blanks, Union officials feel that (_oin-
mittees should not be- chosen until
everyone as-given a chance to regis-
ter.
Work on filing and'sorting the cut
cards is progressing, and within two
weeks the personnel of the commit-
tees will be announced. By the end
of the next week, a catalogued index
of all available committee material
will lt~re been completed, but this is
being las up jay the lack of cards.

Applicants should bring their in-
struments and, some music with which

is not considered the most important
requisite. Membership is not limited
to University students, anyone with
