C. have signed a petition asking for
a substantial increase in their sala-
ries to become. effective soon, and
presented it to the state board of ag-
riculture at its meeting Wednesday in
Lansing.
Figures are given which show the
wages that Michigan Agircultural
college teachers receive in compari-

the statement is made that in spite of
increase given last summer many
members'of the faculty are not able
to adequately furnish the proper
care, for their families.
