For the first time in the his- tory of this play, the music is written and will be ready before the night on which the play is to be staged. This time it is ready eight weeks before, as the play is not to be given until Match 26 and 27 at the Whitney thea- ter. The cast has been chosen and the parts assigned. Rehearsals will com- mence next week, so that it will not be necessary to rush them at the last minute. There has been better and more material to choose from this year than ever before, "but owing to the fact that the stage is not large enough to'accommodate all, olly ap- proximately 85 of the 150 who tried out wil have parts in the caste and choruses. No one's part is definitely assured, because of the great amount of competition., On account of this, greater effort 'from those chosen is expected. Y. W. C. A.
