and to offer -practical help in prob-
lems that would confront a newccin-

Freshman social committee mem-
bers will be elected immediately fol-
lowing Dean Myra B. Jordan's party
for freshman girls tomorrow after-
noon. Marguerite Chapin, '20, will
conduct the election. All organized
groups of girls should urge their
freshman women to have as -nearly
definite an idea as possible of whom
they wish to nominate by the time
the election begins.
The freshman social committee is
perhaps the most active of any of the
class committees. It takes full charge
of all- class functions and keeps in
touch with all freshman women to see
that they become acquainted and do
not become homesick,

CASE GAME STOPS
FRESH PRACTICE

YOU TO 2LPRESENT

AT THE

Freshman 'football practice was
called off Saturday afternoon be-
cause of the Case-Michigan game but
will be carried on with full 'swing
again Monday.
Scrimmaging will feature all the
workouts in the near future as the
coach will have to begin cutting his
unwieldy squad and-'he' does not like
to -drop a man before seeing him in
action.
However, attendance has been tak-
en regularly and the men who have
failed to appear will have to for-
feit their lockers and equipment to
those who have not been accommo-
dated. There are several good men
that Coach Mitchell has a line on
that have not. been able to get into
uniform yet but they will probably
be taken care of Wednesday.
