DEPARTMENT FIVES
OPEN PLAY TODAY
Departmental basketball will open
this afternoon when the Foresters will
meet the Graduate school at ,5:15,
o'clock. This is the only game sched-
uled for Wednesday, but two other
teams will meet Thursday. It is not
too late for teams to enter this
league, and any five men in the same
department may form a team.
In the society league at 8 o'clock
the Bayonne. club will play the New
England quintet, Scalp and Blade op-
poses the Kentucky, club, Western- i
Normal club meets Les Voyageurs,
and the Craftsmen play the Grand
Rapids club. Two more games -will
be played in tlis league Thursday.E
Play inl the fraternity class opens
at 7 o'clock Wednesday, the following
teams playing, Theta Chi vs. Kappa
Sigma; Zeta Psi vs. Sigma Ch}4; Sigma
Phi Epsilon vs. Lambda Chi Alpha;
Phi Chi vs. the winner of the Psi
Upsilon-Phi Sigma Delta game.
It has been decided to award a cup
to the winner of the fraternity league,
and medals to all of the members of
the winning teams in the other two
.classes.
Western Club Five Starts Practice
Practices for the Western club bas-
ketball team will start Wednesday atj
1:30 o'clock when the team will meet
in Waterman gymnasium. The first
game is with the Up-staters at 8:30
o'clock Thursday.
