Mr. Meldrunm is a poet in every sense 'of the word. There is a vel- vety tone to his playing, a great at- tention to the finer points of detail, and an intensity of feeling that make him an artist of unusual ability. He is a formfer pupil of Mr. Albert Lockwood of the University School of Music and for the past four years he has been under the tutelage of Godow- sky in New York. Mr. Meldrum is on a concert tour now previous to his debut in Aeolian hall, New York, in two weeks. His friends in Ann Arbor are following him with interest and expecting exceptional achievements from the young artist.
