Lyman H. Howe's travel festival will
be shown at the Whitney on its silver
jubilee tour today.
Among the features offered are ,a
hike above the cloud level in the Can-
adian Rockies, a trip'through the vast
steel plants at Bethlehem, Pa., a visit
to the South Carolina magnolia gard-
ens, a ride on a hnd car down the
Andes mountains in Peru, and numer-
ouse other interesting scenes. The fun-
niest trick pictures and animated car-
toons yet created by the Howe labor-
atories complete the program.
THE IAJE IC5
"The Hoodlum," featuring Mary
Pickford, which will presented at the
Majestic for the last times today, is
one of the best picture hcomedies, Ann;
Arbor has seen for some time.
In spite of the handicaps of her
early training amid wealth and lux-
ury, Amy Burke, played by Miss Pick-
ford, shows that she can slide down
coal chutes as well as anybody.
Afraid of no one, her rich grand-
father included, she throws mahogany
chairs at her chauffeurs, and rye bread
at the waiters when she feels in the
mood.
