letics. In case of a tie in these votes
the managers will be elected by, the
Board of directors.
In the future the manager's award
will be a blue sweater with a plain yel-

PLAY FOR SECOND POSITION

Announcement has been made'-of
the engagement of Genevieve Ann
Walsh, '20, to Mr< Frank A. Riffel' of
New Orleans, Louisiana. Mr. Riffel
is a graduate of Springhill Jesuit col-
lege and the University of Alabama.
Miss Walsh is a member of Theta Phi
Alpha.

of Elidean Browne, '19, and Dr. Clif-
ford T. Nelson, '19D,- which will take

son, who is a member of Phi Omega

All senior lit invitations not call-
ed for by 3:30 o'clock Thursday aft-
ernoon in University hall, will be
sold as extras and the money refunded
for them.-1
Senior Banquet Tickets on Sale Today
Tickets for the senior lit banquet
to be held Monday, June 24, will be on
sale today from 2 to 4 o'clock in Uni-
versity hall.

Soph lits and engineers will cross
bats today for the final game of base-
ball this year. Both of these teams
have lost one game and are now fight-
ing for second place. The winner of
today's game will go . into that posi-
tion and the loser will be forced into
third.
The athletic association will award
nunerals and jerseys to the dents,
who won first place and the team
,which finishes in second. The %team
which loses today will have the priv-
ilege of wearing the numerals if the
class will buy them.
A close game can be expected, judg-
ing from d previous results. Kresge
and Vick will be the battery for the
lits and Ronan and Hickey will per-
form for the engineers.
DETROIT BUILDINGS VISITED
BY ARCHITECTURAL STUDENTS1
The architectural students of the
University recently made an inspec-
tion trip to Detroit under the leader-
sship of Profesdrs Rousseau, McCon-
key and Frantz.
The class visited the new public' lib-,
rary, the new offices of the General
Motors company, St. Paul's Cathedral,
and the Art museum.
