LANTERN NIGHTc As a culmination to woren's activities, next Wednesday night, women Will meet together for the last big gathering -of the year-Lantern Night. Successfully re-established last spring, this ceremony promises to become one of the memor- able events of each year, provided it receives the loyal support of Michigan women. Not only is Lantern. Night an impressive spec- tacle with its long lines of seniors in caps and gowns, its gay swinging lanterns and camp fires, but it furnishes a rare opportunity for all the wonwen to meet together on common ground with a com- mon interest. It is one of the best means we have for the promotion of the feeling of good fellowship. which should characterize Michigan's women as well as her men. While this is an occasion for all women, the seniors are the guests of honor. It is the last chance that underclass women as a whole will have to show their respect and affection for the graduates.
