Attendants and visitors at the Sum- mer session of 1920 will have the op- portunity to inspect an exhibit of photographs of Greece which has been sent to this country under the au- spices of the Greek government. The exhibition, which consists of about 500 photographs, is expected to ar- rive in Ann Arbor about July 1, and will be on display in Alumni Memorial hall for three weeks from that date. Highly Artistic The photographs comprising this collection are the work of the noted Swiss photographer, Frederic Bois- sonas, and are said to be of a high de- gree of artistic excellence. They rep- resent not only the ruins of ancient Greek architecture but also scenes of daily life in contemporary Greece. During the sessions of the peace con- ference in 1919 the collection was dis- played in Paris, and it has been exhib- ited this spring in. New York, Balti- more, and Philadelphia, where the comments of the press have been uni- formly complimentary. Lades to be Shown It was not at first planned to place the photographs on display in any other cities but at the request of the Greek department the officials in charge have so far modified their plans as to send it to Ann Arbor. Accompanying the, exhibit in New York were a large number of laces, embroideries, the work of modern. Greek peasants, and reproductions of ancient sculptures and other works of art, including models of decorated swords, jewelry, and the like. Some of these objects will doubtless accom- pany, the photographs when exhibited here. The Screen ly, he thinks that Eliza, his ward is a golden haired girl of 12.
