At a meeting of the Freshman girls
held yesterday afternoon .the follow-
ing girls were nominated for the J -
diciary committee to be elected at thel
All-campus election: Frances Ames,
Elizabeth Hutchins, Grace. Frye, and
Elsa Oisen. Five girls were elected
for the perfmanent social committee.
They were: Ellen Canfield, chairman,
Beatrice Champion, Theresa Fritchie,j
Betty Travis, and Helen Miller. The
20 girls elected to the Freshman
Spread committee were: Marion Saun-
ders, Elizabeth Humpherys, Frances'
Ames, Helen Safford, Mary Wagner,1

Actual construction work at the
new hospital began Saturday with the
pouring of thefirst concrete.4
"The work has been delayed some-
