All contestants are paired as last announced, and- it is urged that these play off at the very earliest sign of good weather, in order to expedite matters on the courts. For the same reaspn, fraternity teams are requested to enter teams of two men only, in- stead of four, as previously announced. All.courts at Ferry field will be re- served for tournament use only, as, 85 are entered in the interclass match- es, and the fraternities will be \ some time in playing off. For the next few weeks all players not entered in eith- er of these classes will give way to those who are, in the matter of the use of courts, and interclass play will supersede that in the inter-house league. of Ohio, Iowa re- st obstacle in the men. It is necessary to hold the meet in the morning as: the afternoon will be taken up by a meet between the Wolyerines and Ohio4 State university. The event will be in the nature of{ an interclass affair, and only men who have never won an "M", "A. M. A." or numerals in track will be per- mitted to enter. It offers, therefore,' a remarkable opportunity to earn awards, and Coach Farrell is particu- larly anxious for members of the freshman class tq contest, as it will give him a chance to look over pros- pective material for the coming years. On the program for the morning will' be every event which is offered in a dual track meet; the 100, 220, and 440, yard dashes, the 120 and 220 yard hur- dles, the half-mile, mile, and two mile runs, high and broad jumps, the- pole vault, and the shot, hammer, discus, and javelin throws. The first three men to place in eadh event will be awarded numerals, pro- vided that at least five men are en- tered, and freshmen who place will be given freshman numerals with blue jerseys. I All men who hold lockers at Ferry field, and who are not participating in this meet or are not members of the Varsity squad are requested to re-1 move their belongings at once. Dual Meet with 0.$.
