Athletics among the boys and girls
of the University have received a new
impetus. Indoor baseball is the ve-
hicle for this rise. Contests between
them have been staged lately with the
forfeit of a dinner, a dance,. or a pic-
nic from the loser to the winnet.
So far the championship goes to
the boys. Great discussion and parley
was necessary to determine which for-
feit to take. Finally they decided.
upon a picnic as being the most fun.
It has been suggested that other or-
ganizations go in for something sim-
ilar. If suffieient baseball talent is
not available, tiddlewinks or flinch
will be the medium through which tie
ancient rivalry will be decided.
Members of Mortarboara will meet
at 8:15 o'clock Monday evening at the
Pi Beta Phi house.
Michigan Dames will meet at 7:30
o'clock Tuesday evening in Lane hall.
A pot-luck supper will be given.' All
members are requested to bring knife,
fork, spoon, cup, and plate.
Members of the ,Junior Girls' play
cast may receive refunds, both from
deposits and for expenses into Detroit,
from 4 to 6:30 o'clock Wednesday
afternoon at Barbour gymnasium. A
property box has been provided there'
also for costumes etcetera. This is
the only time refunds may be obtain-
ed.

With Tan Trimmings
Is this smart sports oxford that so satisfactor-
ily completes your up-to-the-minute sports
costume. These sports suits and dresses are
worn during the summer months for almost
every occasion. One doesn't necessarily need
to be interested in sports to wear a sports cos-
tume. For all but the most formal affairs they
are seen. And for such a suit you must have a
shoe that is the finishing note. We have just
received that very shoe. This oxford is of
white canvas with long vamp and heel of
brown leather. The heel is moderately low,
just what you want in a sports shoe. And be-
side its beauty and practical value is the price.
We are offering this ultra smart sports oxford
