CONTESTANTS IN TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE GAMES FOR TODAY The games in the tennis tournament scheduled for Tuesday and postponed on account of the rain will be played today. This pushes the schedule as posted on the bulletin board in Bar- bour gymnasium a day ahead. Any contestants not playing off the games according to. the schedule shall be dropped automatically unless one of the contestants scratches and forfeits the match to the other in which case such procedure is to be entered on the schedule. bulletin. The semi- finals wilt be played May 26 and the finals on May 29. ; GIRLS SELECTED FOR Y.W. C. A. CAMP! Three University girls, Lois De- Vries, '21, Frances Gill, '20, and Ruth Jennings, '20, have been selected to go. as leaders to the Y. W. C. A. camp at Plano, Ill. There are 15 girls under the direc- tion of each leader, and the leaders themselves are under the supervision pf a general counselor. The camp is composed of industrial, grammar school, and high school girls under the ages of 1 years. Qualifications for the positicf of leader are that a girl must be versed in "star talk," bird lore, study of flowers and trees, hand- craft, and in water sports. Quite a number of girls had been chosen from here who met the requirements sat- isfactorily but as yet it is not certain whether or not there will be a place for more than three leaders. Miss Eva Lemert has just returned from Detroit, where she has been in conference with Miss Cowgill, the City Y. W. C. A. secaretary, and with leaders of other organizations there. At this conference other summer work for Michigan women was considered, and both Miss Cowgill and Miss Mc- Gee, Industrial secretary of Detroit, are attempting to get Michigan girls connected with' industrial phases of Y. W. C. A. work in Detroit. These girls have received their training in the city Y. W. C. A. in Ann Arbor, where they have been working under the direction of Miss Littel, who is secretary off girls' work. R. 0. T. C. UNIT RECEIVES SUPPLY OF NEW EQUIPMENT Since the reopening of school fol- lowing the spring recess the R. 0. T. C. unit: has received a small amount of new equipment, including two light trucks and two motorcycles. Idaho Women Get Self-Government A plan of self-government of, for and by the women of the University of Idaho has been accepted.
