Although beaten by the fast Illinois quartet at the Drake Relays, the Micl1igan team made the excellent time of 3:24 on that 'occa- sion and there is a possibility that conditions at Philadelphia will favor the Wolverines. Illinois drew the 13th position in the race to be held Saturday, and su- perstitious Michigan supporters are counting on this jigx to defeat the Illini. The Wolverines drew fifth place in the race.
