two Ibsen plays for her performances.
Foreign critics 'are said to have
ranked her work. with that of some
of the greatest European artists and
much favorable comment ,had resulted
from her appearances in America,.
Prior to a New York engagement
which she will open in the fall, Ma-
dame Hammer will tour the" middle
W est and giving her plays under. the
auspices of the large schools and
colleges. Her New York repetoire
includes a number of Ibsen's plays,
Strindberg's "The Dance of Death,"
and the productions of other leading
Continental dramatists.

"Down on the Farm," Mack Sennett's
latest super-comedy will 'be shown~
Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday -at
the Arcade the cast which in-
cludes a large number of the most
popular of today's slapstick artists,
is _composed of Louise Fazenda, Marie
Provost, Ben Turpin, Bert Roach,
Billy Armstrong, -and other well-
known comedians., John Henry., the
two and a -half year progidy dis-
covered, by Mack Sennett complete,
human members of the cast and. they
are "assisted by the Sennett dog, Here
and cat Pepper.
