AT THE DETROIT OPERA HOUSE- ON-THE-CAMPUS The scene of the comedy, "Nothing But Lies," in which the eminent com- edian, William Collier, is appearing at the Detroit Opera House-on-the-Cam- pus this week, is laid in the advertis- ing office of Nigh and Cross, two ex- perts in *the art of producing results, no matter how poor the medium ad- vertised. Matters go well until the partners' families are introduced into the bus- iness, when fake detectives turn out to be real central office men and ar- rest follows arrest, and conviction with a jail penalty of not less than five years stare the members of the firm in the face. The play is. an excellent example of the modern and intellect- ual method of obtaining comedy ef- fect. RED CROSS SEWING CLASSES RECEIVE TWO MONTHS' WORK w AL LACE RI3IDi N - 'VAL LAC] O .
