It had been expected by every- one that Michigan's star track man would make a good showing at the event up until last night when Coach Farrell announced that Michigan would have no representatives at the meet. The coach feels that the squad is not in good enough condition to war- rant the trip to Pl~iladelphia. Adverse weather has retarded practice and the men have not been able to keep in shape. In past years interclass games have always aroused much enthusiasm among the students because no unusu- al amount of ability is necessary to make the teams and because this is the only legitimate method of empha- sizing class distinction and competi- tion. There have been as many as eight teams playing
