SATURDAY, ApnrL 5, 1919 THE MICHIGAN DAILY PACE FIVE SATURDAY, APRIL II, 1919 THE MICHIGAN DAILY PAGE FIVE MAIZE AND BLUE GRID STAR MAKES ALL AM ERICAN ELEVEN Frank Steketee, Freshman, Gains Honor for Self and School by Ability at Punting Frank W. Steketee, '22, is Michi- gan's representative on last fall's All- American football team. Steketee was chosen for the position of full-back on the mythical aggregation of stars because of his all-around brilliant playing, and especially his toe work in the Syracuse game. Not only is he one of the most sen- sational punters and field-goal kickers that ever performed on a Maize and Blue gridiron machine, but is also able at carrying the ball. He accounted for a large number of the points scor- ed by Michigan last season. Steketee was recently , presented with a gold football as a personal gift from Coach Fielding H. Yost. On it were inscribed the words, "To Frank W. Steketee, Champion All-American Fullback."
