SATURDAY, APRIL 5, 1919 THE MICHIGAN DAILY PAGE FIVE I _..._.. .-....,n MAIZE AND BLUE GRIM STAR MAKES ALL AMERICAN ELEVEN Frank Steketee, Freshman, Gains Honor for Self and School by Ability at Punting Frank W. Steketee, '22, is Michi- gan's representative on last fall's All- American football team. Steketee was chosen for the position of full-back on the mythical aggregation of stars because of his all-around brilliant playing, and especially his toe work in the Syracuse game. Not only is he one of the most sen- sational punters and field-goal kickers that ever performed on a Maize and Blue gridiron machine, but is also able at carrying the ball. He accounted for a large number of the points scor- ed by Michigan last season. Steketee was recently presented with a gold football as a personal gift from Coach Fielding H. Yost. On it were inscribed the words, "To Frank W. Steketee, Champion All-American Fullback."
