Prof. A. J. Steele, for over 40 years
connected with Le Moins Normal In-
stitute of Memphis, Tenn., died of
heart trouble Friday evening at his
home, 820 F. Kingsley street. Profes-
sor Steele had been a resident of Ann
Arbor for five years and~a.though not
connected with the University, had a
large acquaintance among the faculty.
