Prof. C. T. Johnston, the director, warns all engineers who expect to attend the camp during the summer of 1919, to make their reservations for accommodations early. As rap- idly as students, in groups of four, get together and make : application, buildings are assigned them. Twenty- eight students have already made their reservations. Teaching Corps Appointed The teaching corps for Camp Davis, summer of 1919, will include the fol- lowing men from the faculty of the University: Prof. C. T. Johnston, di- rector, Prof. H. W. King, Prof. L. M. Gram, Prof. James H. Cissel, Mr. Harry Bouchard, Mr. E. F. Metz, Mr. E. L. Matthews, Mr. G. L. Holcomb, and two student assistants. Dr. Clyde B. Stouffer of the University health service will act as camp physician. This summer's work will consist mainly of surveying, laying out, and constructing roads in and near the] camp. A new road is to be built as a short cut connecting Camp Davis with Bryant's hotel on the way to Pells- ton,. Camp Demands Manual Workers Professor Johnston is in need of four or five students to do manual work in connection with the con- struction of the roads which are to be built. Almost' every year the camp has use for a few students who can work about the camp. In past years the grounds have been improved, walks completed, water and lighting systems constructed, and drainage pipes laid. C., from whom blessings flow in the form of $60 bonuses. Students of the University who have made proper applica- tion for their bonus, are begin- ning to receive their money. One student received his bonus 10 days after mailing his discharge. It looks as though the pessi- mistic remarks which have been current on the campus are un- justified. We will not need to wait until the fourth of July for our stipend. Nor will we have to. borrow on the future to attend the J-Hop. KEEP That Well Dressed pearance of Yours.
