ADELPHI BEGINS SEMESTER
WITH DEBATE ON DIMIGRATION
With Kelsey Guilfoil, '2014, as new
speaker, the Adelphi society held their
first meeting of the second semester
Tuesday evening in their rooms in Uni-
versity hall. Harold Kripke, '22, intro-
duced the bill, "Resolved, that immi-
gration be restricted for a period of
10 years," which was opposed by Louis
Gottlieb, 22. After an extended discus-
sion the society went on record as not
favoring the passage of the bill.
The next meeting of the society will
be held at 7:30 o'clock Tuesday even-
ing in the Adelphi rooms. The bill to
be discussed is "Resolved, that the
Philippines be granted their independ-
ence."

"WID" GUNNING
From the viewpoint of artistic photography, composition and distinctive atmosphere, "Woman" has
never been surpassed. Several periods are shown, and the manner in which the producer has registered
the atmosphere of each episode is certainly delightful to the eye and pleasing to the mind.
Considered generally, I would say that your fans will be more than satisfied. Many will rave. It is
decidedly high-:class entertainment, worthy of our best theatres.
