The brightly lighted districts of the metropolis have known Larry well for some time for a spender who has no regard for his fathZer's millions and who can fight like a demon. But Bob started in by licking his charge and then tried to help him collect some letters foolishly writ- ten to a pretty little waitress. But Bob fell for the lady himself and then Harrington, Sr., called in a private detective to get the evidence. The latter got away with the p>apers. but Bob borrowed a mounted police- man's horse and followed the fleeing taxicab. Overtaking it, he got the letters and returned with the young mil- lionaire to the girl. Then he learned that she didn't care a bit for Larry, but was strong for himself. Next week the eleventh anniver- sary of the Majestic will be heralded with three special productions. The first, one of the best pictures produc- ed lately, will be shown Sunday, Mon- day, and Tuesday. It is Griffith's "Romance of Happy Valley," starring Dorothy Gish. This is the first pro- duction Mr. Griffith has attempted which is not based either on some great spectacular event or on the war. AT THE ARCADE On account of, the many requests from patrons who. were not in the city during the Christmas vacation there is areturnhoneday engagement of the "Hell-Cat" at the Arcade today. Miss Marsh is called the "whim girl" of the screen and her quick, shy smile carries a strong ap- peal unlike any other star. /AT THE WUERTH Bessie Barriscale, who is starred in "All of a Sudden, Norma," a new five reel feature photoplay, by Thom- as Edgelow, makes much of a love Five men students who need work.
