Concluding Chapters of
"Tarzan of the Apes"
from book by Edgar Rice Burroughs
This is the picture you- have been waiting months to see,
telling of the strange adventures that befall Tarzan, primi-;
tive nobleman, and white king of an African ape tribe, who
follows the beautiful white girl he has rescued from death
in the African jungles to her home amid the regal magnifi-
cence of civilized society where love leads him into paths
more dangerous than those he trod in his native wilds

I
Filled With Scenes of Wierd
With lightning speed the story goes from tree-
top wilds to scenes of palatial grandeur, action,
suspense, dramatic tension and contrasts of prim-
itive love forces combating the restrains and con-
ventions of civilization in every one of the hun-
dreds of startling situations.
See picturized the wonderful romance and yearn-
ing love that creeps into the wild, surging heart
of Tarzan when his mate returns to the great,
mysterious place beyond the waters-of his
thrilling quest for her, which carries him to the
threshold of civilization, and then catapaults
him into the very heart of a new world's myster-
ies and restraints.
Then see his return to the jungle, and-a
sweeping, crashing finale of marvelous dramatic
strength.
Power that will Haunt
You for Days
What Tarzan did in his desperate fight with jungle beasts
and savages isn't a comparison to the wild fury that grips
him whenhe discovers the wild duplicities of a civilization
which seeks to keep one of- its delicate, cultured, products
from him in his sensational attempts to win her as his mate

will undoubtedly be bought by some
major organization.

The varsity basketball team leaves
tonight for Chicago, according to
Coach Mitchell's announcement. The
team is in fighting trim, ready for
the two big Conference games and
each player realizing the importance
of defeating tht Chicago and North-
western in the first two games in
which they will meet.
The result of the game with Chi-
cago will be a great factor in giving
the dopesters an idea as to how Mich-
igan stands. Up to the present sit-
uation Chicago has won two Confer-
ence games and lost none, having de-
feated both Iowa and Prdue. The
victory over Purdue is significant be-
cause that five has beaten Illinois, the
team which was picked by many as
this year's champions. Iowa is also
credited with having a strong aggre-
gation and it can be plainly seen what
Michigan's chances are if she -an
clean up tomorrow night.
Last night's practice was necessar-
ily the last before the game and -the
whole squad was put through a hard
workout. A scrimmage ended up the
evening, into which Coach Mitchell
put those whom he was considering
for substitutes on the trip.
Two new and valuable additions to
the squad appeared at practice. "Doc"
Emory and McClintock, last year's
veterans, went through a light work-
out, the first of a series they will go
through, in order to get into shape,
for next semester. "Doc" was elected
captain last season and will assume
all the responsibility and duties' of
that position immediately. McClin-
tock's experience as center will cause
him_ to be a source of new strength
to the team.
The restof the squad appeared in
good form and responded to the ap-
peal of the coach that this last and
