The following casualties are re-
ported today by the commanding
general of the American Expedition-
ary Forces: Killed in action, 69; died
of wounds, 43; died of accident and
other causes, 20; missing in action,

A division of the R. O. T. C. will be

100 NURSES ENTER WOMEN'S
LEAGUE; MORE ASKED TO JOIN
One hundred nurses have joined
the Women's league- as a result of
the campaign to bring the nurses in
contact with other University wom-
en. The party given' Friday after-
noon in honor of the nurses was well
attended and they are urged to turn
out for the fancy dress party, either
as a group or individuals, and to
compete for the prizes to be awarded.
Not only nurses but faculty men's
wives and other women connected
with the University are eligible to,
join the league. All women desiring
to become members should communi-
cate with Elsie Erley, '20, chairman
of the membership committee, at the
Martha Cook building, telephone num-
ber,. 627.
A donation of $25,000 has been re-
ceived by the Univeristy of Wisconsin
for the new university infirmary. This
with the donation of $50,000 from the
state swells the,* fund to $175,000.
