Y. A. C. A. Notes
Comapnies 7, 8, 10, 11, and 12 were
given special entertainments at the
Y. M. C. A. huts last evening. Com-
panies 7 and 8 spent the evening at
Lane hall and the others at Newberry
hall. Movies and singing formed the
first part of the program, the same
films being used at both places. The
men then returned to their barracks,
where farewell "feeds" were held.
Company 10 remained at- Newberry
ball for their eats. Three hundred fifty
men were at Lane hall, and 600 at
Newberry.
Among other bits of service and
comfort given the boys of the S. A.
T. C. by the Y. M. C. A. during the de-
mobilization, is the distribution of
nearly 1,000 pocket testaments. One
hundred were given out on Sunday,
525 on Monday, and 362 yesterday.
The present supply in the city is
nearly exhausted and a hurry call was
sent out for a fresh sunly some days
ago.
S. A. T. C. MEN GET WORK
One hundred men may secure work
until February beginning as soon as
demobilized. Good pay and extra
bonus for good work. Inquire at of-
fice 721 N. University, Room A, be-
tween 11 A. M. and 8 P. M., this week.
