Can you imagine your son, your brother or your neighbor in France two years after the end
of the great war?
Letters from home come slowly and they are but a poor consolation at best for being away
from home. There is nothing for them, now that the fighting has ceased, but the monotonous
round of guard duty and drill, if you take away the theatres, the moving picture shows, the ath-
letic tournaments, the recreation huts, and all the other splendid institutions of the Y. M. C. A.,
" the Knights of Columbus, the Jewish Welfare Bo ard, the Y. W. C. A., the Salvation Army and the
American Library Association.
These Institutions have done wonders in keeping up the morale of the American soldier dur-
ing the War. Do you want their work to cease with the fighting? Do you want them to leave the
American soldier with no recreation,-to leave him friendless and forsaken in France?

Do not forget that it has taken a year and a half to get two-million soldiers to France-it may
easily take two years to get them back. The magnificent work of these organizations MUST
continue until the last American soldier is home again.
