Much interest is being shown in the first bout due to the fact that Ker- wine has successfully eliminated all of his opponents to date, while Moi- sides has not yet been seen on the mat in active competition due to an injury to his shoulder sustained in a friendly match just before the tourna- ment started. Friends of the husky Greek are backing him to give Ker- wine a hard battle to win the bacon. In the middleweight division "Tony" Amtsbuechler has often been ranked by competent judges as one of the best amateur wrestlers in intercolle- giate circles of America today and his many friends have constantly clamored for his entrance into some of the big college meets in which wrestling is included.. "Joe" Planck is recognized as one of the coming champs of Michigan mat contests, and this pair should provide one of the best numbers on today's bill.
