The bout went the full 10 minutes and was featured by aggres- sive work on the part of both men, so much so that the judges had con- siderable trouble in picking the win- ner. The match was the last in the semi-finals. The winner showed the beqtter condition for the most part, his power of endurance being especially noticeable.9 The result of yesterday's match leaves Moisides and Kerwine qualify- ing for the finals in the heavyweight class. In the middleweight division, Planck and "Tony" Amtsbuechler will, battle for championship honors; Reider and Brown will compete in the wel- terweight class, while the former will also meet Whitlow for the highest honors in the lightweight group. The date for the holding of these matches has not yet been set, but it is likely that they will be run off within a week.
