On the stage, however, she is always moving about and even if you do have to work for many hours during rehearsals, one can move about and the dancing is lots of fun as well as good exercise." At Me )hijes;tie Anticipating that quite a number of the students will Pemain in Ann Arbor during the spring vacation, the man- agement of the Majestic has arranged an entertaining program. The current bill which closes tomor- row is headed *by Carter, a prestigi- tator of °renown, who has also gained quite a reputation as an illusionist. Harry Richards and Bessie Kyle have an act which they call "A Regu- lar Club Fellow," one of those bright, breezy, frothy affairs for laughing pur- poses only. Bert Howard, the rube comedian, certainly can tickle the ivories and his songs are of the catchy order. . Bell and Eva open with a singing, dancing and turbling novelty. Sunday the picture policy will con- tinue, with Maud Gilbert and William H. Tooker in a clever photoplay called "A Fool's Revenge." The play tells of a clowa, who, seeking revenge, unknowingly gives his daughter into the hands of a wealthy libertine. Starting Monday night and twice aily therea;ter until Wednesday night, matinees at 2:30 and nights at 3:15, that popular actress, Nancy Boyer, will return and play a repertoire of popu- lar New York successes. Monday night and Tuesday matinee "A Pair of Sixes" will be played for the first time at popular prices. This well known comedy is one of the funniest plays ever written and is jammed full of laughs and the entire three acts are sparkling with wit. Tuesday night, by popular request, Miss Boyer will repeat her former success here, "Baby Mine." This needs no comment or introduction as it is a sure gloovi chaser and the manner in which it is acted and produced is well known. The last day, matinee and night, Wednesday, "Bought and Paid For" will be the attraction. This will be Miss Boyer's last appearance in Ann Arbor this season. It is surprising how many of them have been models for prominent ar- tists. Archie Gunn, Dana Gibson, and other artists must at some ,time have drawn pictures of nine-tenths of the chorus girls who are now appearing in musical comedy. Whether this is an amiable fiction on the part of the chorus ladies or not, Miss Mary Orr, one of the prettiest of the girls with John P. Slocum's musical comedy, "Nobody Home," which comes to the Whitney theater on Thursday, April 13, blushingly admits that she, too, has been a model.
