Arrangements Being Mlade for Visiting'
Athletes ofI Occasion of
Interscholastic Meet;
WILL SEE ANNUAL (SAP ]NIGHT
Practically all arrangements have
now been completed for the Inter-
scholastic meet to be held Friday and
Saturday, June 2 and 3. Aside from the
actual running off of events on the
athletic program, other entertainment
leas been arranged for the visiting prep
school athletes.
Lodging and meals will be furnished
the boys by fraternities and other or-
ganizations on the campus. so that
the only expense to which the teams
are put is their transportation. The
preliminaries in the various athletic
events will be. held on Ferry field Fri-
day afternoon, the balance of the day
being} given over to sight-seeing. The
Notre Dame-Michigan baseball game
will be open to the visitors in theI
afternoon, and the annual Cap Night
spectacle in Sleepy H-ollow in the
evening.S
Saturday's baseball game with
Notre Dame will be played off in the
morning, so as not to interfere with
the finals in the Interscholastic meet,!
which will be run off in the afternoon.
A dinner at the Union on Saturday
evening will probably be followed by
an all-university "Farewell" mass
niceting, at which time the track "M's"
will be awarded, in addition to the
cups and medals won in the Interscho-
l asti c.
The complete program for the visi-
tors, is as follows:
Fridays Junie 2

bunts were handed out to the infield
and the afternoon wound up with a
filding practice.
rBrandedl was in center field, with
Smith on second base. This shift will
stand for the' present. Both Harley
N'arn(-c.r and Thomas were working at
third bare, while all three of the catch-
ers we re tried behind the plate. The
tlhird base problem anl the selection
of the twvo catchers to go south are
about the only perplexities in the line-
up at present. Dunne will probably
start the year as first string backstop,
but which of the other pair, Roehm or
Arentz, will make the trip is an open
