The Dance of the Scarab, in this scene is one of the most diflicult of all the dances contained in the repertoire of this famious danseuse. Kameyo Sadakata and Mutsu Kik- uchi take the leading roles in the Japanese scene, in which duelling and tea drinking vie at holding the attn- tion of the audience. Iawai presents one of the most in- teresting acts cf the whole perform- ance, with a genuine Hula Hula led by Helen Ely and a large band of native hawaiian mus cians from the Ford factory as the leading attractions. The American Indian, in the per- son' of C. A. Ritchie, takes the princi- pal part in an act which for a mom- ent throws a :ouch of sadness over the scene. Florence Lowry, as the beautiful Indian princess. restores the . goed humor of the audience when Engravin o. Fastest Engravers in the West porting cast. Grover will sing the song from which the act receives its title, and which is composed by Aub- rey Stauffer who is in charge of the production of the Revue. Miss Inez Cose will lead the girls' glee club in a series of French num- bers entitled "The Spell of the Mar- sellaise." These songs will be inter- woven with a plot in which warfare and mother love are rival strands. Tin German Soldiers Drill Militarism runs rampant in the Ger- man scene, which is laid in Nuren- burg, the toy shop of the world. Here, the toy soldiers come to life for a period and drill under the guidance of their tiny commander until a fairy again reduces them to wooden beings. Albertina Rasch again takes the center of the stage in the Russian scene, in which she executes a Polish and several Slavic dances. Present Comlletely Equipped Harem Miss Vena Marsh will share honors with Zanelli in the Turkish act, in which Zanelli takes the part of the Sultan, with Miss Marsh as his fav- orite dancer. A large chorus asists in the depiction of the Turkish Harem, which is here presented with extreme faithfulness. Miss Dorothy Conger, asisted by a chorus of six child dancers from De- troit, will present a series of classic Greek dances in the act devoted to the Athenian kingdom. At the close of this act, -umanity, with his hand- maidens, again takes the center of the stage, bringing the theme to a close with all men more closely unit- ed in the common bond of love.
