"Y" SETTLES UPON DTE
FOR BUSRAM CAMPAIGN
W. J. Bryan, Fred B. Smith, and Other
Promnient Speakers to 'take
Part
The date of the Busrah campaign
under auspices of the University Y. M.
C. A. has been definitely settled for
the five days beginning Sunday, March
19, and ending Friday night, March
24. Among other prominent speakers
who have ben secured for the big
opening meeting are Dr. Harrison,
who has spent much time on the
ground of the work in Arabia, and
Fred B. Smith, of New York City, who
for sonme time has been prominent in
directing campaigns.
Preliminary to the opening of the
Busrah campaign, William Jenningsi
Bryan will speak March 11 in Hill
auditorium in the interests of the gen-
eral Y. M. C. A. work on the battle-
fields of Europe.

Washington's birthday favors will
be one of the innovations to be in-
troduced at the sixth annual dinner-
dance to be given Tuesday evening at
6 :00 o'clock in Harris hall in honor
of all Episcopal students and faculty
in the university.
Bishop Charles D. Williams of De-
troit andl Dean A. H. Lloyd of the
graduate school will speak briefly, and
a special string trio will pay several
selections during the dinner.
More than 100 tickets have been sold
but a few reservations may be se-
cured by telephoning . C. Johnson at
788-M before Monday afternoon.

INTEI'RNATIIONAL JIJAW COURSE
Prof. Jesse S. Reeves, of the politi-
cal science department, is conducting
a new seminary this semester in inter-
national law. The seminary aims at
a° discussion of current problems be-
fore the world today. Material is as-
~igned weekly, being based on the
principal international problems of the
week.
SENIOR 1N(GENEERS PLAN FOR
SNAPPY "CHIERRY TR'JEE" DANCE
Senior engineers will endeavor to (10
themselves one better at the "Cherry
Tree" dance which they give the eve-
ning of February 21 at the Michigan
Union. Shook's J-Hop orchestra from
Detroit has been secured to furnish
the music. Special features will give
snap to the dancing which is billed to
commence promptly at 9:00 o'clock
and to continue until 2:00 o'clock
Chaperones for the affair will be
Prof. and Mrs. C. T. Johnston and Prof.
and Mrs. E. E. Ware.
Wright's Saxophone Dance on Friday
Wright's Saxophone Trio orchestra
that played to such a success at the
J-H~op will give a party at the Michi-
gamn Union Friday evening, February.
25. Dancing will continue from 9:00
o'clock till 2 o'clock. Tickets miay be
