appear on the Board of Direc. ;rs at
the next meeting.
Women of the university will be al-
towed this year to buy tickets for the
Michigan Union opera hm i -dately
after miembers of the Union have had
chances to purchase pasteboards, and
before men students who are not
members and the general public have
an opportunity to get the admission
slips. The changed attitude of the
loard was partially a response to c ts-
satisfaction ~among the university
women during the past few years.
Student- vice-presidents of the
Union will hold meetings henceforth
at 5:00 o'clock every Monday after-
noon. They will also have definite
office hours which will be announced
shortly. Other matters ready for
publication were of routine business.

A small, enthusiastic audience
g ree ted Arthur Hammerstein's pre-
sentation of "High Jinks" at the Whit-
ney theater last night. Eddie Lam-
bert as Fritz Denkmahl and Mary Am-
brose as Adelaide Fontaine furnished
the greater share of the laughs in a
tangled situation that was only solved
after a liberal application of the mys-
terious perfume. Betty Blye, imper-
sonating Sylvia Dale, was wvell- re-
ceived in the "Bubbles" song, and
Mildred Shelly., in her dance at the
beginning of the third act called forth
vociferous cries' of "more" from the
galleries.
A novel feature of the show was
the romping finale to the second act,
in which all of the principals were
separately presented to the audience.
