Barrie's, "The Professor's Love Story," is the play which the Comedy club will produce this year. Those in charge of the production this year have done their best in selecting a modern comedy, by one of the most popular playwrights of the day. "The Professor's Love Story," by the author of "Peter Pan," "The Little Minister," and "The Legend of Leon- ora," which played here last year, has had a phenomenal run in London, where it was first produced, in New York, where it played six months, and in Chicago. It is a modern, live, up- to-date comedy, filled with amusing situations and smashing climaxes. FThe management of the play ex- pectsa record attendance, for it feels the student body will appreciate the type of play offered. Good material is available, and it is thought there will be no little difficulty in stecting the cast, since every member of the club has signified his or her intention of trying out. The tryouts will be held tonight in 205 N. W., at 7:30 o'clock. The first performance will be given on December 18, in the Whitney the- ater. This will be followed by a see- ond presentation at the time of the J-Hop, as has been the custom in for- mer years. With the work un- der way at present he expects to get his men running in a couple of weeks. This track will be of use not only to Dr. May and his gymnasium classes, but will be used as occasion requires by the Varsity runners. The first-year men in the gymo classes are already receiving their first in- struction in running, emphasis being laid on. the relaxation of the muscles and the proper manner of holding the arms, Appoints Prof. L.
