Church THE BREED TH4AT WINS Last night saw the first step In Michigan's "come-back,," The move- menit has started auspiciously, It is not' the first time that such a thing has been done. In 1909, after a de- feat by Notre .Damep, Michigan came back and defeated the two remaining teams on her schedule. In 1913 M.L A. Cl. left the gridiron, for the first time, with the winners' score of a Michigan game. But following that defeat Mich- igan, in rapid succession, defeated Vanderbilt, Syrg.cuse, Cornell and Pennsylvania. What has been, done once can be done again, for the breed of Michigan teams has not changed. YOST still has the safe craft that put his namve on the football roll of honor. Phil ]3artelme, Coach Yost and other characters are brought in and the at- mosphere of the whole story is re- dolent of Michigan. Campus scenes, trips to Detroit and a Ferry field crowd are portrayed, and the 60-yard march of the hero down the field is pleasantly reminiscent of "Maully's" performnance at Harvard last fall. H.
