ON INSPECTION EXCURSION

Conkey, and Professor B. Robinson
were in charge of the party.
Among the various buildings visited
were the Detroit Evening News build-
ing, the Elks Temple, the Board of
Commerce building, the Peoples State
Bank building, the Dime Savings Bank
building, the Detroit Trust building,
the new Wayne County Savings Bank
building, the new Book building, the
new Municipal Courts building, St.
Paul's cathedral, and thesChurch of
the Holy Sacrament. These buildings
were selected as illustrations of vari-
ous types and stages of construction.
INVESTIGATE THIS
If a general statement were requir-
ed we would say that fifty-one years'
observation of the practical workingl
out of life insurance convinces us that
the policy which covers the most needs
in the largest number of cases, and
covers them to the greatest satisfac-
tion of the insured, is a policy which
protects the whole period of the insur-I
ed's expected active career, and then2
becomes payable to him for its faceE
value in cash should he survive thatt
period.
Nothing is of greater importance to3
the student than "starting right," and
this is especially true of life insurance,t
which is now recognized as one of theh
most important economic factors ofL
modern society.- It enables thes
thoughtful and ambitious student toa
begin his career with the guaranteei
that even at the outset his premature
death will not cause a loss to those
who have backed him. t
