In the 220-yard hurdles. he equalled the world's record tune, 23. 3-5 seconds.j Number Ever Out Because of the poor attendance on the opening day of the annual pentath- lon meet, the meet has been postponed until next Wednesday. But six men made an appearance for the initial events, the smallest number in the his- tory of the event. Because of the unusual opportun- ities offered by this meet for athletic recognition, this meet ought to attract an unusually large number of entrants this year. The authorities in charge of the event wishithunderstood, how- ever, that no student on the warned ory probation lists will be eligible to compete.
