P. E. Haynes, '16H, will become the junior assistant under Dr. Beebe in the surgery ward. H. The competition for these prizes is limtied to the winners of the CYC prizes, who automatically become eli- gible to compete for the Corpus Juris scholarship., Each thesis for the $500 prize must be mailed to the American Book coni- pany not later than August 1, 1916, under registered mail. They will be examined by a competent committee selected by the company during. Au- gust, and the winners will be an- nounced bySeptember 1. The Corpus Juris scholarships were founded by the American Book com- pany in 1915, for the encouragement of post-graduate work and a deeper study of the science and philosophy of law.
