Besides his international law work, Mr. Coudert has a large general practice in New York city. He is the author of several books which repre- sent the advanced sentiment of the le- gal profession. Two of his works are "Certainty and Justice" and "Prece- dent and Progress." Many prominent Detroit lawyers have signified their intention of at- tending the address by Mr. Coudert. Among these are Regent H. C. Bulk- ley, Henry M. Campbell, John W. Bedimont, Henry E. Bodman, Clarence A. Lightner, Julian W. Harris, and George L. Canfield. Messrs. Bulkley, Lightner, and Canfield are honorary members of the Order of the Coif. Edward S. Rogers, John M. Zane and Frank F. Reed of Chicago have been invited and are also expected to be in Ann Arbor for the address. An invitation has also been extend- ed to Newton D. Baker, secretary of war, who delivered the address be- fore the Coif two years ago. Many of the younger members of the bar will also be present. After the address in Hill auditorium, there will be a dinner for the members of the Coif at the Union at 6:30 o'clock, at which Mr. Coudert will be enter- tained as the guest of honor and will speak a second time. While in Ann Arbor, Mr. Coudert will be the guest of Dean Bates. President Harry B. Hutchins will be present at all of the functions attended by Mr. Coudert.
