orary legal society will initiate 11
members of the senior law clas,4 this
afternoon. The namves of the initiates
will be announced tomorrow.
Membership in this society is based
upon scholarship. The organization
includes all of the leading law schools
of the United States and its n1mmbrs

the Honorable Frederic R. Couderit,
the leading attorney of New York
city, being the speaker. 1Bescides be-
ing a brilliant and able lawyer, Mr.
Coudert is probably the foremost
American attorney practicing in ini-
ternational law. The address, which
will be open to the public, will be held
at Hill auditorium on Friday at 4 :15
o'clock.

of the latest books written by Michi-
gan alumni..
Rtay E. Manchester, '09-'11L, is the
author of the first book. It is a sim-
ple account of the adventures of a
plain city dweller in the great out-
doors and the. pleasures he found
there. Mr. Manchester is a teacher
in the state normal at Oshkosh, Wis-
consin.
The other book was written by Solo-
mon Johnson, 'SOL, and is a graphic
acount of a trip around the world
which Mr. Johnson and lhis brother
made.

Senior Dentists to Go to Detroit
The whole senior dental class will
leave on the Michigan Central at 9:35
o'clock for Detroit next Friday, where
they will be the guests of Park, Da-
vis & Co. They will be given a lun-
cheon by the drug company, after
which they will be taken through the
plant. At night° a banquet will be
given them at the Hotel Tuller.
