E. Dungan, of the_ Otis Elevator Co. It is thought that the car will be ready for opera- tion by the middle of next week. This elevator has an electric door-' lock. When the door of the car is left open, an electric switch- throwvs off the power and the elevator is au- tomatically put out of commission.r The elevator has- a lifting capacity of 1,250 pounds, and will be used for carrying freight exclusively.
